Day 1, More Like Day Fun!

 
 Alright, I know the title is a little lame but it's actually so true. Today started off great with a nice, early start at 5 a.m. at DGN loading our buses and then shuttling it on over to O'Hare International Airport. We made it through security without too much trouble and then for Flight 2 it was waiting time! Some students participated in a game of Mau (if you know it, trust me you know it).

In the Starbucks line, awaiting some much needed coffee, we met a woman carrying a violin case and you know I just had to inquire further.  As it turns out she was traveling to some Central American or South American country to help teach and give lessons to children who don't have the ability to purchase or rent their own string instruments. The less-than-full size violin would be left with the kids.  Overall a worth while interaction!

Once we landed it was time to make our dreams come true and off to Disneyland we went. After a short bus ride we were at Disney's Hollywood Studio. A brief meeting with our chaperons we were off into the park.

We stopped for a great lunch and there was this great tortilla chip with R2D2! I was very excited about that. I promise it doesn't actually taste like the napkin it looks like!
