Orlando Here We Come

Hey, I'm Kristyn Krajewski, and I play the harp in the District 99 Orchestra, and I'm super excited to head to Orlando tomorrow. I've been waiting so long for the big day and it's finally here.

 I'm all packed and can't wait to meet everyone tomorrow and get going. I hope everyone gets enough sleep! Safe travels to everyone!

My name is Gracie, I'm a freshman from the North Concert Orchestra and I'll be blogging during the Orlando tour!
My excitement's through the roof; I can hardly wait to get on the plane and I'm sure just about everyone else is too.
Embarrassingly enough, this'll be my first time on a plane.

Hello District 99 Orchestra and North Choirs families!!

My name is Beth and I am a senior violinist in the Symphonic Orchestra at North High School. I am very excited to go on the Disney trip and I will be one of the bloggers for it so I hope you're ready!  I've (almost) finished packing and now I just have two more things to do today: a violin lesson and to sleep!

I look forward to blogging at you and with my fellow students, I hope you have a swell night!

We're leaving for Disney!!!

Finally, I have been waiting forever to get on the plane to Disney and get out of this cold weather. You know when it's the night before the trip when you can't get to sleep. That's going to happen to be me tonight. But I have to go to sleep early because I have to wake up at 4 in the morning tomorrow! Soooo, anyway. Tomorrow is going to be CRAZY, we have to leave a 5, go through security at 6, then board the plane at 11 and finally arrive. Then the best part happens, we go straight to the park and gorge ourselves on all the fun that Disney has to offer. I think I'm going to go to the The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It's supposed to be a really big drop! But what I'm most excited about is all the playing with my instrument I'll do. I just love playing famous Disney songs such as Aladdin and Pocahontas. I will never want to leave!

Final Reminders and Itinerary

The final itinerary is posted in the links on the right-hand side of this blog. Please note that any further changes to the itinerary will be communicated via our celly messaging system.

Final reminders to students include the following:
- If you are traveling with a cell phone, please remember to sign up to get celly alerts. Please see your director if you are unsure how to do this!
- Please make sure you know your bus number when you arrive on Thursday morning! Bus lists are posted within the links on the right-hand side of the blog.
- We will begin loading buses at 5:15 am on Thursday. Please be on time, wearing your tour t-shirt.
- Please make sure you have your performance uniform (and all accessories) with you!
- Please double check to make sure your baggage meets the United Airlines regulations.

We are excited for a great trip!
